Accommodation

Living expense

    DAAD is scholarships for International applicants from the field of Fine Art, Design, Film, Music and Architecture as well as Drama, Direction, Dance and Choreography. The scholarship payment depends on the applicant’s academic qualifications. It is usually €650.00 (from February 2018: €750.00) for undergraduate students, €750.00 (from September 2018: €850.00) for graduate scholarship holders and €1,000.00 (from September 2018: €1,200.00) for doctoral candidates and postdoc scholarship holders). The payments for university teachers are typically: €2,000.00 for assistants, assistant professors and lecturers, €2,150.00 for professors (as of August 2015). International artists can apply for this study scholarship when they decide to study in Germany.

Intakes

To study abroad in Germany one needs to be aware of the intakes. The main intakes offered by all Universities is September, Deadlines: from 15th Feb till 31st May. Few universities offer intake in March, Deadlines: from 15th Nov till Jan Last.

Entry Requirements / Eligibility

UNDERGRADUATE

13 years of Education is mandatory (12 + 1 year from University) If not, then students can go via 1 year Foundation Course Or 10 years Education + 3 years Diploma IELTS- 6.0 overall or TOEFL- 80 points (IBT) German language B2 level

MASTERS

15 & 16 years of Education with 75% or 2.75 GPA IELTS – 6.5 overall or TOEFL – 85 points (iBT) German Language up to 200 hrs – A1 level GRE – Appeared, Attempt is fine

MBA

To study MBA in Germany, students require 15 & 16 years of Education with Relevant Subjects IELTS- 6.5 or TOEFL – 85 points (IBT) Work Experience 2 – 3 year preferred GMAT – 550 (exceptionally required) Some MBA programs do not require GMAT nor work experience
